Welcome to the Space Cadet Program
The Space Cadet Program is designed for children and young people aged 5 to 16 who are fascinated by space, science and technology.
Whether your child dreams of becoming an astronaut, engineer, scientist, pilot or simply wants to learn more about the universe, our programme provides an exciting and engaging pathway to develop knowledge, confidence and practical skills.
Through a combination of online lessons, activities and challenges, students can explore the subjects that underpin space exploration while developing valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their education and future careers.
What Should Future Astronauts Study?
Astronauts come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but there are several subjects that provide an excellent foundation for future careers in space exploration.
